About Indoor Beach Volleyball

Indoor beach volleyball is a game played by two teams on a sand covered volleyball court surrounded by netting, where the ball is played rebound off the nets, with no outs and therefore the ball is live at all times.

The game is played for three sets of 15 minutes and players can only score off their own serve. Teams are divided into playing divisions depending on the teamís skill level. Each week team scores are tallied to a progressive division table which determines which top four teams in each division play off for the finals of the season.

A season is normally played for 16 weeks, however new teams can join the competition at any stage.
